This section emphasizes serving people all over the world with our accelerated classes. Our accelerated Hypnotherapy Certification classes are designed especially for persons like you who do not live in our area. The format is 50 class hours per week.

We still have space available in our accelerated class beginning August 9, but it is filling fast. If you are interested in this program, we recommend you send your deposit very soon. Our accelerated classes are very popular, and we have had to turn away many prospective students. You have the option to call, e-mail or fax in your reservation via Visa or MasterCard. You are welcome to take just a portion of any of our available programs, so you can join even if you can just fit the first one or two levels into your schedule. Hypnotherapy is an exciting, developing field which offers significant opportunities. Through lectures, live demonstrations and in-class practice in an intimate, supportive setting you will learn safe and effective ways to induce hypnosis and do many forms of hypnotherapy in our highly practical courses. In emphasizing comprehensive solutions to achieve lasting change, we also weave various humanistic modalities including Gestalt into hypnotherapy. Your skills are further developed by homework of selected reading assignments (including the use of acclaimed cutting-edge texts designed for our program), many important class handouts, and further practice. Our comprehensive training includes business and marketing strategies to develop a successful practice. The courses of our state-licensed school are carefully designed to give you extensive training to either practice hypnosis as a career or integrate hypnosis as part of another profession in the health and counseling fields.

Our licensed Clinical Hypnotism school has all major approvals, including eligibility for Certification by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, the original and primary Hypnotherapy Certification agency in the United States with over 9500 professional members. Randal Churchill has helped provide visionary leadership for the past two years as A.C.H.E. President. And congratulations to Marleen Mulder, who became A.C.H.E. Vice President on May 3 at the International Hypnotherapy Conference in Los Angeles!

We schedule two accelerated programs (50 class hours per week in class) each year. This is especially for those from outside of Northern California; and also for local persons who would prefer that format. We are near many popular tourist destinations, including beautiful beaches, redwoods and the Napa-Sonoma wine country.

We have had students come to our classes from many states, as well as from Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, the Bahamas and other Caribbean countries, Central and South American countries, many European countries from Iceland and Ireland to Slovenia and the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Israel, Kuwait, U.A.E., Africa, Russia, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Guam, the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand.

Avoid correspondence courses or distance learning which purport to train you to become a hypnotherapist. We firmly believe that classes that include live demonstrations, group hypnosis processes with feedback, and supervised practice, are an absolutely essential part of hypnotherapy training leading to an effective, successful practice. Correspondence courses are very limited in their potential for training persons to become hypnotherapists, just as they would be for training persons to become marriage counselors, dentists or massage practitioners.

Beware of any school which claims to offer hypnotherapy "certification" for fewer than 150 hours of classroom instruction. Such schools in many cases have not been approved to operate by their state governments.
